Want to Improve Your Horsemanship?

High Horse Stables offers a variety of riding lessons from beginners to skilled riders in English and Western disciplines. Our experienced teachers can show you everything from basic to advanced riding skills.

You can also count on us to help you prepare for that big show. We have indoor and outdoor facilities so weather is never an issue here. 

You Will Learn Much More Than Basic Riding Skills

Our trainer is amazing with giving lessons to people of all ages. If you are wanting to get your child on a horse for the first time ever or an experienced horseman looking to get better or polish up for a show, Earl will be incredibly patient and make sure it is fun for everyone in a safe manner.  Sign up for riding lessons with us to become a well-rounded horse person. Our instructional program is designed to teach you to become skilled at understanding, riding, and caring for these majestic animals.

Working Students

We occasionally have space for working student to learn care and working of the horses, as well as possible show riding opportunities. Please contact us for details and availability.

What Do You Need  To Bring?

For riding lessons, please bring long pants, water bottle, closed toed shoes, preferably with at least a half inch heal, and an approved riding helmet. If you don't have a riding helmet, we do have ones you can use.  Plan to be here for about 2 hours, the first 30 minutes  learn to tack up the horse, then we ride for about an hour, with the last 30 minutes we put away the tack and clean up. 

Lesson Prices

Lessons are by appointment only.

Private Lessons
  • $65 one hour (single lesson)
  • $200 four one hour Lessons occur weekly on the same day and time each week.
Group Lessons are hour-long lessons with between 2 and 4 horse riders of similar skill level.
  • Discounts available for current clients
Trail rides
  • $75 per person per hour.
